What is Dried Herb Converter?
The Dried Herb Converter is a calculator that converts grams of dried leafy herbs into teaspoons and tablespoons. The tool covers oregano, basil, thyme, parsley, dill, marjoram, tarragon and similar crumbled leaves.
Drying removes 80–90% of a herb’s weight as water and concentrates flavour. The standard swap is 1 part dried to 3 parts fresh by volume. Woody herbs such as rosemary needles and ground herbs pack denser and weigh more per spoon.
